Thursday, March 08, 2007/ 9:49 PM SNGS-HCI Exchange Programme SNGS-HCI Exchange Programme - 4 days has come to an closure today. I has enjoyed myself throughout this enriching course. Monday Went to HCI in council uni. not comfortable with it, and ther goes by St John boots, "tick tock tick tock", 20 of us, Ervin, Junxian, Nicholas, Kuan He, Youjie -3A Naifu, Caiyong, Alan, Hansen, Haojie - 3B Remus, Caleb, Cyril, Xulie, Jianler - 3C Yangyang, Wenwei, Zhehou, Clement, Ryan -3D board a air-con less bus with grease everywhere, and the journey does'nt sounds good. When Mrs Chai told us that we were supposed to go there by ourselves for the next 3 days, everyone "HUH" though we already know long ago that there will be no transport. Upon reaching there, we walked around the guard counter, as we were not allowed to get in as our buddies were not here, as we were too early xD. 10 mins past, they finally came. Andrea spoke out the names of our buddies. Our buddies has all CHANGED. For dunno wad reason, they resuffle. But it is still the same 20 buddies, going by a 1 to 1 policy, unlike HCI's 2 to 1 policy. Chattering can be heard around. Soooo noisy. All were stunned by this UNEXPECTED news. Jianler - Eleanor. "Who's she?" i didnt even hear before this name last week. Result - Remus, Caleb and Me were in the same class. 3Loyalty - (3L) cos our buddies were in 3L. Of course we got a warm reception from the class. Now the worst part came in. We were told that whatever the girls do, we boys have to follow suit. And so suay until that, week 10 is where most of their exams took place. Curse our luck, but to accept it. CANTEEN! - The queue is so freaking long, and that the aunties of the stalls took their own sweet time to serve the students. Worst of all, the food tastes terrible and is so damn EX! 1 small little bowl added with a few foods inside -$1.50 In HCI, i can use $1.50 to get 3 times bigger than that bowl of rice. And to think that, the girls recommended us to eat the orange bowl, the LEGENDARY pang ah choy noodles which they said was nice, to my utmost HORROR, it tastes even worse than our school noodles. I went sleeping in the physics lesson later on, soooo BORING. all presentations from students which can put me to sleep. Lessons end at 2.15pm. Horrible. Cyril, Haojie suggested to go watch St Nick netball match, at sports school after that, think around 8 went? izzit? Heck care la, only a 3rd/4th placing only ^^. Went J8 with yang,clement and hansen. Eat the legendary japanese food at the food court. Cost us A BOMB. so SCAM! The auntie scam us, say wad buy her lemon tea, sell only at 50 cents instead of $1. In the end, the cup was so small, and the taste was..... TERRIBLE~! Went shopping. Not girlish, but to buy gifts. Yang Rox the most. Go buy 2 goats. Goat + Goat = YangYang. =.=!! Erps. Went weisheng hse later. Dry Swimming was so FUN. Tio own like mad at first, but in the end my $$ was still positive. Use the $$ go buy gifts. $.$ Tuesday The problem arises. How do i get to school? No choice but to take my dad's car. met yangyang at bukit batok. halfway through, naifu called. "Can i take ur car too?" =.= In the end have to turn to choa chu kang be4 going to ang mo kio. I left my house at 6am, and reach at 7.15am. MARVELLOUS! Lessons goes on. I Just LOVE PE! So lucky that my class was learning to play soccer this week, instead of the others like discus? LOL Of course the female trainer very LAME. Instructions : "Grab a parner, and try it out" Remus, Caleb and me in 1 team obviously. 1st skill - short pass lame lame de. pass lai pass qu. No Fun at all. 2nd skill - long pass this also lame. 3rd skill - throw in wad's the use of this, when i still see ppls making the same mistakes over and over again. 4th skill - one-two passing Lol. i let remus and caleb play while i be Gk. xD 5th skill - Pressure Defending i LOVE THIS MAN. shall elaborate. The female trainer ask for a male volunteer. I went up and she wants me to dribble the ball. Lol. She said that she will defend me, and wan me to dribble. She never states her point clearly, as i dun get her. Lol. In the end with 1 kick i ole her, as she stood rooted to the ground. shoot- GOAL! She looks damn paiseh with herself le. She hurriedly said that, " I know that you are fast, but i can be even FASTER." >.<> so that she can show the girls how to defend properly.... Haha finally is the match. I join my buddy team,while remus and caleb in the opposition side. The match of course issint good. Initally, i try to get the ball and get into position to shoot, But always in the process i will have to say "sorry". Either i knock onto them, or the ball hit until their leg. Within 5 mins, i spoken 10+times sorry le. Suan le, i play sweeper would even be better. And for the very first time, i finally seen the tottenham's tactic. "Park a bus in front of the goal post" 6 ppls crowd the small goal post. IMPOSSIBLE to score la. Even beckham also cannot score la i BET! It was until only the female trainer ask them to spread out, that we managed to get a goal. from a throw in, I volley in the ball from close range ^^. Goal~~! But within 1 min, they score back. From a very fluke throw in from Remus, they score. Somebody touch the ball slightly, and in the end, the ball bounce its way in to the goal. 2 defenders miss the ball while trying to clear, and the keeper look at the ball to bounce in. =.= Nothing special liao, except 1 note that whenever the girls get the ball, they will shout or scream. xD. Scoreline 1-1. Lessons back. Hmm nothing special except their english teacher very funny. Like first time see boys like that - then keep on pronounce my name wrongly =X. Physics practical was fun too, about the glass block refraction which i did at HCI 1 mth ago. Wednesday Holy. Tests~! Took maths test and 1 english writing assignment. Remus went off be4 maths test. Soo lucky. In the end only Caleb and i took. Test on surds, indices, logs... I get 28/45 xD. marvellous. when i see eleanor got 39/45 my mouth went wide open. Lol. let's see the statitics. Girls % of As - Forget liao but very high (75% like that) Boys % of As - 0% (Caleb got 29 xD) Boys % of Passes - 100% ^^ Girls % of Passes - Lower than 100% (forget again) xD It may seems not fair as only 2 of us taking. lols. Average Mark for boys - 28.5 Average Mark for girls - 31 Lol~~~ Went on shopping spree again in the afternoon. On Gifts! Aaargh, i burnt a hole in my pocket le. 2 buddies - total expenditure $20++ woot. Thursday last day le. BUT still need to take chinese compo test. SUO MING WEN. Zzz. we tried not to do but she INSIST us on doing, stating that she wants to see HCI boys' composition. ..... Anyhow write ar. not even in the mood to write. write bout birds. xD During assembly, we sat on the floor. It was held at a dance studio. Lol. Whole sec 3 level squezzing and sat on the floor. Caiyong and Remus went up to give a farewell speech, and of cos give a token of appreciation. After school le, Everyone including buddies went to gather at the forum. Pizza, drink. xD Took group photos. like in Hci 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D then SNGS 3J, 3T, 3P, 3L after that some indi photos. Lols. Meng take photos at the last day ar haojie. cos nid to do the video on assembly. Lols. Play captain ball after that. MOTM - kuanhe. Imba blocker. nobody can get past de. Lol. Then, went to eat bean curb outside. Nicholas so rich arrr, treat everyone. totally F.O.C!
