Monday - Chemisty Test Tuesday - English Debate, Chinese Test, Physics Test Wednesday - Geography Test Thursday - Maths Test 2 omg! this is the results of having all tests postphoned! gonna study now. tmr gone case liao. still need to work -.- let's talk bout today.. Ironman Comp. We din make it to semi-finals but its ok. what matters most is the experience, and of cos the ACE points! me weisheng zihao clement daren derek 1 team was given 3 tasks to complete, top 10 grps with the highest score proceed to nxt round. 1st task - Bouncing Devil It is like constructing a release device and bouncing device. releasing the wooden cube from the device, making sure it bounce on the other device, over the 30cm wall. GEES! our idea is so creative lor! xD but it can only work sometimes. it all goes down due to the stability problem. spent a lot of time trying to stable the cardboard. in the end when judge comes, all 3 attempts failed! 0 points out of 100! 2nd task - Construct 27 small cubes, making it into a 9X9 cube. answer all the 54 questions and paste the answer on the each cubes. 1 hour only leh! the hard part is in constructing the cube rather thn the questions. and in the end after 40 mins, we are still constructing the cubes! it is cut from the paper de. thn use scotch tapes and paste it yourself. score wise: 6.5 out of 100! 3rd task - Jigsaw puzzle + Constructing of frog. given damn lot of papers, and piece all the papers tgt to form the ironman comp picture. and in the same time, construct a 'frog', with paper. we were given 5 blows to blow the 'frog' from the starting line according to our performance in jigsaw puzzle. and miraculously, our 'frog' travel so far that it can even beat those who got 6 blows. actually, none of the models look like frog. more like a paper plane or spaceship. haha. score: 82 pnts out of 100! total score: 88.5 O.O! top 10 went in.. 9th is like 162, thn 10th is like 137? a big gap sia! went home at 5++. zz study! 9 more days to beijing! |
